A brief overview of the EOS Group

The EOS Group is a group of companies active throughout the world, with about 37 subsidiaries and associated companies in 21 countries. Its headquarters are in Hamburg (Germany).

As well as in Germany, the EOS Group is represented in Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Greece, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Austria, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, and the USA.

Robust sales growth of 13.4 per cent made the financial year 2006/07 an unexpectedly positive one for the EOS Group. EOS increased its sales from EUR 203.8 million to EUR 231.1 million.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also increased sharply, rising by 11.9 per cent to EUR 51.5 million, Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to EUR 60.7 million.

The EOS Group has more than 20 000 customers worldwide including numerous large insurance companies, banks, credit card institutes, leasing companies, utilities, industrial and trading companies as well as publishing houses and mail order companies..

The group of companies is one of Europe’s leading financial service providers outside bank and insurance businesses that are subject to licenses.

The service spectrum covers three business units:

• Information management
• Arrears management
• Receivables management

The EOS brand stands for professional, tailor-made and consolidated financial solutions, covering the entire customer life cycle – from customer acquisition to receivables management.

The EOS Group was formed in 1974 under the name of Deutscher Inkasso-Dienst (DID).

Todays 35 subsidiaries and associated companies have been distributing their entire service spectrum under a joint umbrella brand since 7 September 2000. The network links regional competences with the cross-frontier know how of the entire group.

On 1 March 2007 the EOS Group completed the internationalisation process of the EOS brand. All European partners, in which EOS holds a majority stake appear under the same umbrella brand.
