EOS Group acquires remaining shares in EOS Payment Solutions

Hamburg – As per the end of December 2008, the EOS Group acquired an additional 49 per cent of the shares in EOS Payment Solutions GmbH & Co. KG from Albis Finance AG. This means that the company, in which EOS acquired a 51 per cent shareholding as of 1 January 2007, is now wholly owned by the Group.

Klaus Engberding, Member of the Board of Directors of the EOS Group and responsible for the German market, explains this strategic step: ‘In making this acquisition we are enhancing our range of payment systems solutions and thereby strengthen the link between our risk assessment, arrears management and debt collection services.’ The company already works for clients in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Spain. ‘EOS Payment’s objective is to become one of Europe’s foremost suppliers of systems for electronic payment transactions and risk optimization,’ Engberding adds.

New management since 30 January 2009

The company has been headed by Achim Middeldorf and Michael Hülsiggensen since 30 January 2009. Middeldorf, previously commercial director and member of the executive board at Tipp24, will in future be responsible for commercial operations, after-sales service and group sales, while Hülsiggensen, currently General Manager of EOS Payment, will head the areas of sales, products, marketing, purchasing and contractual affairs.
