School students at EOS

A taster option is offered by our two- to three-week periods of unpaid work experience for school students. During this period the participants gain their first impression of working at EOS, perform small tasks themselves and get the chance to talk to trainees about their experiences.

For those school students who decide to apply for an apprenticeship at EOS, work experience is good preparation.

Girls’ future day at EOS

‘How does my mum talk to a debtor?’ ‘So what does my dad write to the debtors?’ ‘How does my father persuade big companies to let EOS work for them?’ and ‘Mum, what’s debt collection?’ These are all questions that EOS employees’ children might ask. EOS gives them a chance to get some answers on its own premises on Girls’ Day.

At the international Girls’ Future Day, girls from the 5th to 10th school years are given an opportunity to get to know occupational areas that girls seldom take into consideration when they start to think about their future careers. The girls broaden their horizons of experience and orientation in personal conversations with EOS employees. They also establish initial work-related contacts that might be helpful to them in the future.

EOS has been involved in the international Girls’ Day for a number of years already. The precondition for taking part in Girls’ Future Day at EOS is that the school in question is involved in the day. EOS is again looking forward to lots of questions on 24 April 2008.
