Training plus specialist knowledge

In cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg Vocational College (‘Berufsschule’), the Federal Association of German Debt Collectors (BDIU) and other financial services institutions, EOS has played a pioneering role in Germany in creating a new job definition: Office Administrator with Additional Debt Collection Qualification.

The objective of this specialized vocational training course is to meet the complex requirements of the industry. For three years, the trainees are familiarized with the subject matter of office administration before going on to deal with the basic concepts of debt collection, its history and its significance for the market economy. They get to know the arrears billing instruments, are trained in negotiation from a psychological perspective and receive a basic legal grounding.

The initiative’s success has been pleasing: EOS alone has been able to take on more than 90 per cent of the trainees itself. 

As a trainee IT Systems Integration Specialist you pass through a variety of training stations at EOS. You will spend a large part of your course at the EOS company EOS IT Services. In addition to that, you will get to know the Central Services division and various operational areas in debt collection.

You should have the following qualifications:

• university entrance level (A-levels) or a good secondary school leaving qualification (O-levels)
• a good head for figures
• the ability to work in a team and service orientation
• the ability to work autonomously
• analytical skills and
• good knowledge of English.
